Facebook have added a new feature recently which hasn’t recieved much web coverage: recommendations of Public Profiles on your Home Page (Top Right)
The idea has already proven to massively boost fan bases for those public profiles that have been selected for this new feature.
So do the recommendations generate a lot of new fans? You bet! Sarah Lacy for example has jumped from 1,119 fan (according to Sarah Lacy’s public profile statistics) to a whopping 4,286 fan in under 48 hours.
How you get selected or what criteria is used to promote the suggestion is currently unknown, but Socialonics will keep you updated as and when we know!
